We establish a new natural edge or repair existing edging to create clean bed lines and help keep mulch contained where it belongs.

2. Bed Cleanout

We remove weeds, old mulch buildup, landscape fabric when necessary, debris, and unwanted vegetation. This is also a great time to trim shrubs and plants if needed.

3. Regrading

We regrade the garden beds to eliminate low spots and uneven areas. In some situations, we may rototill compacted soil or add topsoil around foundations and planting areas to create a proper base.

4. Weed Barrier Installation

When appropriate, we install a professional weed barrier to help reduce future weed growth. Depending on the application, we may use:

• Heavy-duty woven landscape fabric

• Premium landscape fabric with fabric staples

• Commercial-grade weed barrier systems

All fabric is securely fastened using professional-grade landscape staples.

5. Mulch Installation

We professionally install your selected mulch at the proper depth, typically between 2 and 4 inches, depending on the mulch type and application. Proper depth helps maximize moisture retention, weed suppression, and overall appearance.

6. Ongoing Maintenance

To keep your landscape looking its best, we recommend refreshing mulch every 1–2 seasons. Routine maintenance may include bed cleanouts, edge touch-ups, weed barrier inspections, and the addition of fresh mulch as needed.

If your garden beds are already prepared, we can simply deliver and install the mulch for you. This service includes professional placement of the mulch throughout the areas outlined in your agreement.

Please Note: If existing weeds, debris, poor grading, or other site conditions are present and prep work is declined, we can only guarantee the delivery and installation of the mulch itself and are not responsible for the long-term appearance or performance of the landscape beds.

Natural Edge Installation

One of our most popular options is a natural edge, where we create a clean 3–4 inch deep trench along the perimeter of the bed. This natural border helps contain the mulch, prevents spillover into the lawn, and creates a crisp, professional appearance.

Our mulch installation service starts at $140 per cubic yard, which includes delivery, professional installation, and cleanup. This pricing applies to all of our standard dyed and shredded mulch options. Final pricing may vary based on the size of the project, mulch selection, and site accessibility.
